Editorial – If God Had Workers Who . . .
If the Lord had a company of workers who would rely wholly upon Him, He would accomplish a great work through them. One could chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight.
History
Ten years ago, August 1993, the first issue of LandMarks was published. As we mark this significant milestone, it is our desire, as God has directed, to use such occasions to “call Him to the minds of the people.” The Desire of Ages, 447.

The Initial Steps Toward Unity
Coming into unity is like a jigsaw puzzle—it has more than one piece, and we cannot look at all the pieces at once. Right now, however, we will look at one of the initial pieces, a first step toward coming into unity.

It is God alone that can continually put enmity between the seed of the woman and the serpent’s seed. After the transgression of man his nature became evil. Then was peace between Satan and fallen man.

In 1 Corinthians 1:2 we are told how the New Testament church is organized. “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints . . . .”

We are to show people that there can be no unity between truth and error and that there can be no unity between those who are standing under Satan’s banner and those who are standing under the banner of the Lord.

When men begin to think that they are good because of position or works, they are absolutely blind. There is not a position or work in which we can engage that can make any one of us good.
