When we study John’s prophecy in the book of Revelation, we find that we are living in the time of the judging of the people—in the time of the last church (“Laodicea” means judging of the people).
Salvation
The cross shows that neither God's law nor the penalty for breaking it could be changed. In mercy for lost sinners, Jesus stepped in and paid that penalty for all who would accept Him as Lord and Saviour.
Faith
We do not have any might or strength to really hasten Jesus Christ's coming, but God is going to do something for us so that we can rise and shine with His truth, throughout the world, that all the inhabitants of the earth are going to focus on God's people.
