If all who are saved have a Christlike character, then we need to find out what it is like and aim to be like Him. Salvation has never been something you can earn; it is something that those who are like Christ receive as a free gift.

Galatians 5:22, 23 contains that answer. Here lies the ultimate formula for success in human relationships. “And the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.”
Perfection of character is not something that happens in an instant, it is a process that happens as we live day by day. You do not have to be one of the many. You can be one of the few who are sanctified by the truth and saved by it.
From the inspired writings, we read: “ ‘Wherefore, my beloved,’ he [Paul] continued, ‘as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, buperfect, t now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
