Inspiration – Camp Meeting Address

“Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” [II Corinthians 6:17, 18]. These are the conditions upon which we may be acknowledged as the sons of God—separation from the world, and renunciation of those things which delude, and fascinate, and ensnare.

Do Not Be Afraid of the Dark

However, as we look at the context of dark, darkness, and night as used throughout the Bible, we will quickly come to realize that these terms most commonly connote a state of being—physical and spiritual—that is almost never good.
